After the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, VegasInsider has updated the list of all the records that were broken during the 2025 awards ceremony.
To highlight a few of the records that were broken, Hiroyuki Sanada (who won for “Shōgun”) became the first Asian actor to ever win in the Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama category, Jeremy Allen White (who won for “The Bear”) joined Michael J. Fox and Alan Alda and achieved a rare feat of winning in the Best Actor in a Television Series - Comedy in three consecutive years, Ali Wong (who won for “Ali Wong: Single Lady”) became the first woman to ever win in the Best Performance in a Stand-Up Comedy category at the Golden Globes while Fernanda Torres (who won for “I’m Still Here”) became the first Brazilian actress to win in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama.
